Software development

 

KimTech B.V.  is specialized in development of technical PC software and embedded software.  Our development process is based on RUP (Rational Unified Process).  For technical PC software the Microsoft .NET technology is used. Embedded software is developed with special development environments with microprocessor simulation technology. Therefore it is possible to simulate, debug and test this software in a processor equivalent environment without any large and complex hardware setup.

 

 

Hardware development

 

For hardware development (electronics) KimTech B.V. uses very advanced design tools. Schematic capturing as well as PCB design and a complete simulation of the design is done with advanced CAD/CAM software. This has the big advantage that mostly the first prototypes fulfil already the requirements. Thus saving a lot of engineering effort and costs. During the design phase EMC regulations are also considered. As a result problems during the product certification are avoided up front.

 

KimTech B.V.  produces prototypes and small product series only; for larger volumes special partners are used, eventually in the Far East.  We provide all documentation from functional/technical specification or design until user manuals in various languages.
